Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using futureplans.app ("Service") operated by futureplans ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

futureplans provides a web-based annotation and feedback tool that allows teams to attach contextual notes to web pages via a JavaScript snippet. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code

2. Accounts

To access certain features you must register for an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@futureplans.app if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of futureplans. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

4. Pricing and Service Changes

The Service is currently available free of charge while we refine the product and evaluate long-term pricing. We may introduce paid plans or usage limits in the future, but we will update these Terms and provide notice before charging for access to features that are currently free.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, futureplans shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
